About Gırgır
Gırgır Event is a new-generation events and social lifestyle brand founded by a female entrepreneur in Munich. We create experiences that bring different people into the same room, introduce fresh ways to enjoy the city and turn an ordinary plan into something worth remembering.
Although Gırgır is still a young brand, it has quickly built a growing audience and developed strong collaborations with brands, venues and creative partners. What began within Munich's Turkish community is steadily growing into a more international, multicultural and open community.
For us, Gırgır is about much more than organising events. We want to create nights and experiences where people genuinely have a good time, meet others naturally, try something different and leave with great memories.
Good plans. Good energy. Plenty of Gırgır.
Our event portfolio ranges from Turkish Karaoke Nights and themed quizzes to daytime meetups, live sports screenings, open mic and demo nights, live music concepts, workshops and book club gatherings. We also develop custom event concepts together with brands, venues and creative partners.
Every Gırgır event has its own personality. Some nights bring hundreds of people together around music and entertainment, while others are smaller, more intimate and built around conversation, creativity or discovering something new. Sometimes we sing together, sometimes a quiz gets far more competitive than expected, and sometimes the best part of the night is simply being there.
One of the things that makes Gırgır different is that we do not limit ourselves to one type of event. Music, nightlife, culture, sport, wellness, food, creativity and social life all have a place in the Gırgır world. The idea is simple: different people should be able to find a plan that feels like theirs.
Our Turkish roots are an important part of the Gırgır story. We want to keep that warmth, energy and sense of hospitality while building something that goes far beyond one community. Today, our ambition is to bring people from different backgrounds together around great events and shared experiences in Munich.
With original concepts, strong collaborations and a fast-growing audience, Gırgır is becoming more than an event organiser.
Our vision is to build Gırgır into a recognised and trusted event brand that people associate with great plans, good energy, creative collaborations and memorable experiences — starting in Munich and growing from there.
Because Gırgır Event is not simply about going to an event.
It is about trying something new, laughing a lot, having fun together and enjoying the city a little more.

A city of new beginnings.
People come to Munich for all kinds of reasons: work, university, curiosity or a completely new start.
We wanted to make events where different people end up in the same room, conversation flows naturally and everyone finds something they enjoy.

A song everyone sings. A quiz taken way too seriously. A new hobby. A conversation that somehow lasts two hours. Plans for next weekend.
For us, a great event is remembered for its laughs, its energy and the little moments that still come back to you the next day.
03 · The beginning
One question, one idea and plenty of Gırgır.
“Why don't we create the kind of events we would actually want to go to?”
Gırgır started in Munich with a simple idea: instead of making the same plans again and again, we wanted to create the kind of events we'd genuinely choose ourselves.
Then came karaoke, quizzes, workshops and more ideas. With every event, Gırgır grew a little more.

A good event pulls you into the room from the very first minute.
Maybe you find a new favourite song. Maybe your quiz team gets unexpectedly competitive. Maybe the night simply goes by too fast. That's part of the Gırgır feeling.
05 · The city
We started in Munich.
We started Gırgır here, and Munich is still home. We're growing through new events, new collaborations and all the ideas that make us say, ‘we should do that too.’
